Privacy Policy

APLOMBHR

Effective Date: SEPTEMBER 2026

Aplomb LLC, doing business as AplombHR (“AplombHR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect personal information through AplombHR.com and any other AplombHR webpage that links to this Policy (collectively, the “Site”).

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to AplombHR.com and any other AplombHR webpage that links to this Policy. The Site includes AplombHR’s public-facing pages, contact and scheduling features, email-list signup, and links or access points through which authorized users may reach client and employee portals.

The secure client and employee portals may be hosted on separate technology platforms and may collect information different from the information collected on the public-facing portions of the Site. Information submitted within a secure portal is also subject to the applicable client or service agreement and any additional privacy notice, terms, or instructions presented within that portal. When another company operates a linked website or platform for its own purposes, that company’s privacy policy applies to its collection and use of information.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the Site, you may provide:

  • Contact and professional information, such as your name, business email address, telephone number, company or organization, job title, company size, and service interests.
  • Inquiry information, including the contents of a message submitted through a contact form or sent to AplombHR.
  • Email-list information, such as your name, email address, subscription choice, and communication preferences.
  • Scheduling information, such as your selected meeting time, time zone, meeting purpose, and any details you choose to provide when scheduling a conversation.
  • Communications and feedback you send to us.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and service providers acting on our behalf may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, including your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, links selected, approximate location derived from your Internet Protocol address, and the date and time of access. This information may be collected through cookies and similar technologies and used to operate, secure, and understand use of the Site.

Information from Site Service Providers

If you use a scheduling feature or interact with embedded media, the provider of that feature may send AplombHR the information needed to complete your request or report how the feature was used. Those providers may separately collect information under their own privacy policies when you interact directly with their services.

Use the Designated Secure Portal for Sensitive HR Information

The Site’s general contact forms, email-list forms, and scheduling tools are not secure HR intake channels. Please do not submit employee records, payroll data, benefits information, Social Security numbers, financial-account information, medical information, passwords, or other sensitive personal information through those public-facing features. Authorized users should submit sensitive information only through the designated secure client or employee portal or another secure method identified by AplombHR.

3. How We Use Personal Information

AplombHR uses personal information exclusively for AplombHR business purposes, including to:

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
  • Respond to questions, inquiries, and requests for information.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings or introductory conversations.
  • Provide newsletters, company updates, event information, and other communications requested by the recipient.
  • Understand Site traffic and evaluate how visitors use the Site.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity.
  • Comply with law, enforce our agreements and policies, and protect the rights, safety, and property of AplombHR and others.
  • Support a corporate transaction, such as a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Embedded Features

The Site may use the following types of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential technologies needed for Site operation, security, network management, and form functionality.
  • Analytics technologies used to measure Site traffic and performance and to understand how visitors navigate the Site.
  • Functional technologies used by scheduling tools or embedded content to provide a feature requested by the visitor.

AplombHR does not use information collected through the Site for cross-context behavioral advertising or to create advertising profiles. You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings and, if available on the Site, through the Site’s cookie controls. Disabling cookies may affect certain features.

Do Not Track and Preference Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no uniform standard governing how websites must respond to that signal, the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

AplombHR does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, AplombHR will process a legally recognized signal as required.

5. Limited Processing by Service Providers

AplombHR does not sell or rent personal information. We do not disclose personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or other third parties for their own marketing or independent use.

Limited information may be processed by companies that perform services for AplombHR, such as website hosting, cybersecurity, form delivery, email-list management, analytics, scheduling, and embedded-content support. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform services for AplombHR and are expected to process it for that purpose, subject to contractual or other applicable restrictions.

AplombHR may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property, in connection with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections, or at your direction or with your consent. Except for those limited circumstances, information collected through the Site remains for AplombHR’s use.

6. Email Communications

If you join the AplombHR email list, we may send you company news, educational content, invitations, and information about AplombHR services. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting us. We may retain limited information necessary to honor an unsubscribe request. Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not prevent AplombHR from sending a response to your inquiry or another non-marketing communication you requested.

7. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to inquiries, maintain business records, honor communication preferences, resolve disputes, protect the Site, and comply with legal obligations. The retention period depends on the nature and sensitivity of the information, the reason it was collected, our relationship with the individual, and applicable legal or operational requirements. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we will delete it or deidentify it, subject to lawful backup and record-retention practices.

8. Security

AplombHR uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information collected through the Site. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may choose not to submit personal information through the Site. If you do not provide information needed to respond to a request, however, we may be unable to fulfill that request.

Depending on where you live and whether the relevant law applies to AplombHR or the particular information, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, and to appeal a decision concerning a privacy request. You may also have the right to opt out of certain uses or disclosures. AplombHR does not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.

To submit a privacy request, contact us at [CONFIRM: privacy@aplomphr.com]. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing the request. We will use information submitted with a request only to verify and respond to it. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to appropriate verification.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 13. AplombHR does not knowingly collect personal information through the Site from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11. Client and Employee Portals, External Links, and Embedded Content

The Site may provide links or access points to secure client and employee portals and may link to or display content provided through scheduling, video, map, social-media, or other technology services. Following a portal link may take you to a separately hosted platform used in connection with AplombHR’s services. Information submitted within that platform will be handled in accordance with the applicable client or service agreement and any privacy notice or terms presented there, in addition to this Policy where applicable.

When you interact with a website, platform, or embedded feature operated by another company for that company’s own purposes, the other company may collect information directly from you under its own privacy policy. AplombHR is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of services it does not operate or control.

12. Visitors Outside the United States

AplombHR is based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from another country, information collected through the Site may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Policy on the Site and change the effective date above. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect.
